Really sweet kiddy boogie jam from this Jamaican artist, and you get a great picture sleeve to boot. I love the way he sounds like he has been listening to Michael Jackson. This has gotten some great spins at Tropical Heatwave nights with the homey McBoingboing. My copy is spinning on the turntable as I type this. A personal fave to induce those romantic vibes at the party as the lovers step to the AM. This will make an appearance at the next gig for sure...

A Tropical Heatwave scorcher! Mcboingboing turned me onto this record a while back, and after getting lucky enough to score a copy it has since been in heavy rotation for the both of us. I'm really enjoying this dubby edit he did.

This beautiful rarity has become a bit of a personal anthem at Secret Rendezvous, and I've watched it become one of the most sought after tunes on the scene today. I consider myself lucky to have found this years ago cheap as chips, considering the only copy I know to have surfaced in the last few years sold for $800! Shouts to JBX for hipping me to this, and to Jeremy for putting it on the tube for all to hear. Zaf and Mark Taylor return with their second installment of Adult Oriented Rock/Blue Eyed Soul/Yacht Rock lemonade sipping madness. There is a great distribution of Disco sounding tunes, soulful and straight up smooth jams throughout the comp to keep your head nodding, toes tapping, fingers snapping, and lemonade straw sipping! These comps are perfect when I go on vacation, long drives, etc and are the perfect beach town tunes. Think Steely Dan, yet much less prolific artists who unfortunately didn't achieve the same level of success, but luckily for us British people are crazy when it comes to collecting American music and these guys managed to procure the obscure of these sub-sub-sub gender bending genres and compiled it all for you into one easy listening cd & vinyl pack!
